On April 2, 2026, a meeting was held between Ambassador Farid Talibov and Koji Yamaguchi, President of the Min-On Concert Association. During the meeting, which took place in a cordial and hospitable atmosphere, the ambassador expressed his gratitude for the invitation and emphasized the importance of further developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan, especially in the field of culture.

Koji Yamaguchi, in turn, provided information about the Min-On Concert Association, which he heads, and noted that the organization has made significant contributions to promoting mutual understanding between peoples through music during its 60 years of activity. He emphasized that the association organizes not only concerts, but also educational programs in schools and international conducting competitions. After the meeting, a tour of the Min-On Music Museum was held, and the rich collection of musical instruments and pianos from different periods aroused special interest.
